SPIC POSH: Potassium Schoenite

It is a unique source of plant nutrition since three essential nutrients are naturally combined in to one mineral. It provides a readily available supply of Potassium, Magnesium and Sulphur to growing plants in an ideal ratio. It has an advantage of having all nutrient contained within a single particle, which helps provide a uniform distribution of nutrients when it is spread in the field.
APPLICATION APPLICATION

For Foliar application, spray 5-8 g per litre of water at 15 days interval during flowering and fruiting stage.  For Soil application, Apply 50 kg per acre.

Description

Potash (K2O) – It is known as the quality nutrient. It promotes healthy root systems, increases plant vigor and resistance to disease and cold. It is also essential in sugar and starch formation, and the movement of nutrients through plants.

Magnesium (Mg) – It is the central element of the chlorophyll molecule, the pigment molecule responsible for absorbing sunlight during photosynthesis. It acts as both an enzyme activator and a constituent of many enzymes. Providing Magnesium and Potassium in the proper balance, Potassium Schoenite helps in increasing plant strength and builds resistance to winter kill, drying, insect attack and spray damage.

Sulphur (S) – It helps build proteins in plants and is a key component of many unique traits. It puts the “green & leafy” into crops like spinach, while giving garlic and asparagus their distinctive flavors and improves the quality of wheat. Sulphur deficiencies are of particular concern as Sulphur dioxide emission-reduction programs cause less Sulphur to be returned to the soil via atmosphere. Potassium Schoenite provides an adequate supply of Sulphur for healthy crop production. Because it is in the sulfate form, it aids initial root growth which is important in rapidly growing crops and promotes seed production and vigorous plant growth.

Potassium Schoenite is readily water soluble and immediately available to plants. It has a neutral pH, and does not contribute to soil acidity or alkalinity. This makes it differ from other common sources of magnesium (such as dolomite) which will increase soil pH and from elemental Sulphur or ammonium sulfate which will lower the soil pH. It is effective on all soil types, irrespective of pH. Usually, it is useful for all crops for faster & healthy growth.

BENEFITS:

Resists Leaching: Unlike other nutrient sources, it is 100% water soluble. Mesh size of Potassium Schoenite is in between 200-250 µm for fertigation or spray application. The solubility rate depends on its soluble chemical nature and its particle size. So, it dissolves slowly, resisting rapid leaching from the soil.

Essential Chloride-free: It has low salt index and is virtually chloride-free. So, it is frequently used in situations where a fertilizer free of Chlorine is desirable. It is thus an ideal K, Mg and S source for Chloride and salt-sensitive crops such as fruits, vegetables, grapevines, hops, potatoes, sunflowers, sugarcanes, tobacco and forest trees.

Provides Balance Of Nutrients: The deficiency of any essential nutrients limits crop yields & crop quality, even when all other nutrients are present in adequate amounts. It supplies K, Mg and S in a balanced proportion that fits the nutrient needs of many crops.

Neutral Soil pH: Regardless of application rate, it does not change soil pH because it is a neutral salt.

Increases Profit Per Acre: Higher crop production can be measured in yield as it increase the grain fill, colour, weight, firmness, size and general appearance that exponentially increase the value and profitability of any given crop.

Environmental Friendly: It is eco-friendly, as recognized as safe. It has no restrictions for environmental or nutritional use when used at typical agronomic rates.

SPIC Ammonia

As per Fertiliser schedule recommendation, requirement of ACL is worked out and applied as basal and top dressing for all crops.

Features

  • Ammonium Chloride contains 25% Nitrogen. Besides nitrogen, Chlorine present in Ammonium Chloride is also an important micro nutrient. Improves root formation and ensures quality product output
  • The entire Nitrogen is present in Ammonical form.
  • Ammoniacal Nitrogen is not lost by leaching, since  NH4+ is fixed by soil clay and humus complex. On application to the field, nitrogen will be released as and when the demand arises from the crop.
  • When ammonium Chloride is applied as basal or top dressing for cultivated crops, loss of nitrogen is very less. Consequently more N will be utilized by the crop, thereby fertilizer use efficiency is increased.
  • Ammonium Chloride fertilizer application is  recommended for saline and alkaline soils.
  • It is also a suitable Nitrogenous fertilizer for application in low-lying areas where paddy and other crops are cultivated by farmers.
  • Chlorine present in Ammonium Chloride gives resistance to some pests and diseases.
  • Ammonium Chloride is less hygroscopic than other fertilizers which means the fertilizer has a fairly long life in storage.
  • The chloride radical in Ammonium Chloride frees Phosphorous, Potash, Magnesium,Silica, Iron etc. from the soil.
